Mizzou ended their 9 year draught in the annual bragging rights game by defeating Illinois 81-68. Junior center Mike Tisdale led Illinois with a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds. Mizzou was led by Sophomore guard Kim English with 24 points and 6 rebounds.
Illinois falls to 8-4, while Mizzou is now 8-3.
